How to Get Up Early and Feel Good

First of all, I have always been a night owl (stayed up till 1–2 a.m.). Because of that, in the mornings it was very hard for me to get out of bed. I was feeling tired and low on energy during the day. It was hard to focus on the daily tasks and perform well at work. I was drinking like 5 or 6 cups of coffee a day and that didn’t helped me much.

But all of that changed when I discovered this morning routine. Now I have a lot more energy and can do my daily tasks with ease. And the best part is — it’s very easy to perform and the results are felt after the first week.

So without further delays, let’s get to the main point — my morning routine.

1. Go to Bed Early

I know, I know, I should be writing about morning routine, but this one step is crucial for good morning routine. I think this is the hardest part for us (I mean night owl people), because we like to go to sleep late and that prevents us from waking up early. Simple advice — get to bed at least at 11 p.m. and stick to this consistently. This will increase your wake up time and mood in the morning drastically.
